• Upgraded a twin-screw extrusion line to make it color capable according to the client’s requirements. OTC provided the consulting services with general rearrangement and equipment upgrade in a safe, functional and cost-effective manner to the fullest satisfaction of the client.
• Installed a state of the art twin screw extrusion line providing services from planning, proposal, equipment selection to construction supervision, engineering and project management at a competitive price and within the required timeframe.
• Successful relocation and installation of a high intensity mixer.
• Successful installation of a bulk blender.
• Successful setup of a lab extruder.
• Initiated the Productivity and Quality Improvement Program and facilitated Multi-Disciplined Task Force teams, achieving 100 % improvement in productivity over one year period at Ticona Celstran, Inc.
• Developed and implemented improved, enhanced, and innovative methods of manufacturing Long Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastics materials, forging the path for the company’s success as the industry leader.
• Established process Standard Operating Conditions for Pultrusion lines, significantly improving product quality consistency and increasing average line speed by over 50 % across the product process.
• Improved the process for producing a long fiberglass reinforced Nylon product, reducing product problems and achieving 100 % quality rating from the customer.
• Supervised and counseled lead engineers in planning, construction and start-up of a new manufacturing facility for Celstran in Winona, MN, resulting in timely completion and quality commissioning.
• Coordinated transfer and proliferation of technology to and from licensees in Germany and Japan.
