Overview
From a one-man company in 2002, OTE has grown to become a speciality services company providing engineering, design, installation, and project management services to customers in the thermoplastics compounding industries around the world. Today, we can provide complete systems solutions to our customers – from project inception and engineering to installation and commissioning. Early in our history, we realized that we have to seek partnerships and form alliances with other vendors, contractors and services providers in thermoplastics industry.
Our journey started with a thermoplastic compounding line upgrade project for a compounder in Ohio who took a chance on a new and relatively unknown consulting firm for a simple but strategically critical project for the company. We not only completed the project successfully but did it in record time and half the budgeted costs!
Since then, we have undertaken all kinds of assignments, large and small, across the country and in Europe, Mexico and India. Our clients include plastics processors and manufacturers of all sizes and structures – from small family owned operations to global fortune 500 organizations.
When it comes to project economics, we combine small company prudence with the resourcefulness of large organizations. The result, invariably, is significant cost savings for our customers – the reason we continue to get repeat business from our key customers! While maintaining an experienced and agile core team, we have developed a consortium of qualified, competent and experienced contractors and suppliers to handle large and complex projects safely and economically.
Today, we are a well-recognized and respected engineering services supplier in the USA and globally, known for the quality of our work and attention to detail. With our extensive network of contractors, vendors, and suppliers, we can provide a vast array of services under the accountability of one entity. Our small size offers the agility to provide Safe, Quality Driven and Cost-Effective services at a competitive price.
Our Alliances
CPM Extrusion Group and OT Engineering Pvt. Ltd. recently signed an agreement to be an authorized representative of CPM in India; this partnership was created in response to a dire need in the compounding industry in India for a spare parts supplier, and equipment services expert. OTE aspires to be a full-service company in the Indian market, however, we realize that we cannot do it alone. Our goal is to build partnerships and alliances with reliable names in the industry.
